Here’s a quiz to prepare you for tomorrow’s sermon:
1. You’ve heard of “Gold Finger” … but who had a gold nose?
2. Who fought a thousand duels because of comments about his nose?
3. How long is the longest nose recorded?
4. What’s the name of the preacher for whom the phrase, “Keep your nose out of my business” is referring to?
5. Who has the most famous nose in the Bible.
Well, those are just a few interesting facts that will get our sermon started off tomorrow. They will lead into another story of God’s amazing grace towards sinful humanity. God is Good!
If you know of anyone who might be sick with Covid and who might appreciate a food basket with easy to prepare food items be sure to contact Judy Hernandez. Covid can really wipe out a person’s energy and something yummy to eat and easy to fix will bring them a bit of cheer (we hope!).
Over the past few weeks Covid has impacted several of our church families. This past week Covid showed up again at our school (ECA). I just want to remind you that wearing a good mask is one of several easy steps you can take to reduce the risk of catching or spreading the virus around our church family. Our fellowship meals have been temporarily put on hold as one more precaution that we can take. We certainly would not want to go back to having ZOOM worship services if we can avoid it.
